High Standard is out of Texas and have very good reviews all of the internet. Some wish they even had two just to have one in each hand. Ammo sensitivity is its only downfall. Some have said to have problems feeding certain types of ammo. I dont see this being a major issue because after so many rounds that issue tends to go away.
The most you should pay for this gun is right around $479
The next gun that we are going to offer to you is the American Classic .45ACP

Straight out of the box this pistol has a smooth finish and a great feel. When taken apart this pistol I was surprised at the machine work. It was not some “knock off”. Everything looked polished and just like any other 1911. This pistol does have some “short cuts” but nothing that can effect the overall performance of the weapon.
You can get your hands on one of these for about $400-$475 depending on which type you choose.
These companies have done a very good job in making affordable 1911′s that today’s market can afford. Although they don’t have that WOW effect visually, they can have any custom work done to them. These two guns got my approval!
