Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) is investigating a remarkable incident near Cañon City, where a man reportedly killed a mountain lion with nothing more than a shovel to protect himself and his dog. According to a report from Fox 31 News, the encounter took place late on the night of Thursday, September 26, when a CPW officer responded to a campground west of Cañon City.
