Earlier this year, Jeremy and I sat down with a professor from a university in the UK who who was writing a book on “how the idea of freedom is understood and practiced in different communities and different parts of the USA.” She wanted to learn more about America’s relationship with and attitudes toward firearms and gun rights.
We met her at The Range at Austin and talked for two-plus hours before putting a couple of guns in her hand and letting her pull the trigger for the first time since she was a child.
