New York Agrees to Stop Requiring Social Media Disclosures for Gun Permits

New York will no longer enforce a controversial provision of its strict requirements for concealed carry permit applicants, according to a new settlement agreement. The agreement was filed on Monday in the Northern District of New York in the case Antonyuk v. James. It bars the state from enforcing its social media disclosure requirement–at least against the plaintiffs in the case.
