New Yorkers interested in owning less-lethal electronic weapons for self-defense are out of luck due to a new federal appeals court decision. A three-judge panel for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday unanimously sided with a lower court judge in upholding a New York state ban, and a separate New York City ban, on the sale and possession of stun guns and tasers.
