Blackhawk Unveils T-Series RDS Holster

Blackhawk announced the arrival of a new addition to its T-Series line, expanding the lineup to include a Level 3 duty light-bearing holster compatible with red dots.

The T-Series Red Dot Sight Holster can be used alongside Trijicon RMR/SRO, Leupold Delta Point Pro, Sig Romeo1Pro, and other similar red dot optics. The holster primarily caters to law enforcement authorized to operate red dot sights on patrol pistols. Featuring a dual-injected molded holster design, the T-Series RDS utilizes a removable rotating dust cover which protects the optic from wear and tear. The holster series also benefits from compatibility with Streamlight TLR-1 and TLR-2 lights.

Blackhawk said as more agencies allow red dots, it’s important for companies to support this endeavor by offering more holster options.

“As more law enforcement agencies authorize the use of red dot sights on patrol sidearms, the need for a duty rated holster that can accommodate these optics has never been greater,” Evan McNamara, Director of Product Development for Blackhawk, said in a news release. “With its streamlined thumb-activation retention, the T-Series RDS Holsters keep your firearm and rear optic at the ready while maintaining total security.”

On the onset, the T-Series RDS will be available in a right-handed, light-bearing Level 3 model for the Glock G17 but additional models should start popping up in Level 2 and Level 3, left and right-hand configurations for G17 and Sig Sauer P320 pistols.

The T-Series RDS is priced at $169.
