The Department of Justice (DOJ) finds itself in hot water with some gun-rights activists at another moment it could have instead enjoyed unbridled praise. On Friday, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon sent a letter to Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger (D.) warning her against signing the “assault firearms” ban that passed the legislature last month lest she face a DOJ lawsuit.
