We just saw an unusual ruling on Colorado’s ban on unserialized gun frames and receivers. As Contributing Writer Jake Fogleman points out, the biggest takeaway from the Tenth Circuit decision is that what we’ve come to call the “one weird trick” reasoning doesn’t hold water. At least, not in defense of the Centennial State “ghost gun” ban. But that doesn’t mean the law is completely doomed.
