Yesterday, a judge dismissed the National Rifle Association’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition, ruling that the Association filed it in bad faith. In his ruling Judge Harlin Hale let the NRA know that if they continue to press the matter, the court would “immediately take up some of its concerns about disclosure, transparency, secrecy, conflicts of interest of officers and litigation counsel, and the unusual involvement of litigation counsel in the affairs of the NRA.”
Those are doors that Wayne LaPierre and the rest of NRA management probably don’t want to open.
