The best way to win a gunfight remains to avoid one. We would all do well to remember that good guys sometimes don’t come out on top when the lead flies. Such was the case in Louisville where Jason Spencer, 30, was walking with his new bride after returning from their honeymoon back in 2017. As they walked, a pair of armed robbers announced a hold-up, and Mr. Spencer pulled a gun in self-defense. He shot 15-year-old Travon Curry, but the two predators shot and killed him.
