One of the most notably absent topics of this year’s election fracas has been any discussion on firearms. Then enter Kamala Harris.

The moderators in the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden didn’t ask a single question touching on the divisive topic, nor did either candidate bring it up. Observers noted during the Republican National Convention that the party platform in other than a passing reference didn’t even mention guns.
