No, SIG SAUER’s new .22LR pistol — the P322 — is not a P320, but you’d be forgiven for mistaking it for one. When SIG set out to fill the rimfire hole in their lineup, they did decide to have another company build the new gun for them. Instead, unlike other entrants in the rimfire pistol space, SIG embarked on a 15-month effort to design and build the new P322 themselves. Even the magazines for the P322 are US-made.
