Last week we noted that following the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, Volunteer State Gov. Bill Lee couldn’t manage to get his “red flag” introduced in the legislature, let alone get it passed. The law would allow the confiscation of guns without due process. After the session ended, Gov. Lee then called for a special session to consider the red flag laws at the end of summer.
