It’s terribly inconvenient because it counters so many of their preferred narratives. It also forces them to acknowledge that defunding police departments, revolving door justice systems, zero bail laws, and prosecutors who won’t prosecute have resulted in skyrocketing urban crime and convinced millions of people to buy, train and carry firearms for the first time.]
